What we do
At the Grand Rapids Kennel Club
The Grand Rapids Kennel Club supports their community. In 2017 the GRKC sponsored the purchase and training of a patrol dog for the Kent County Sheriff Department. Each year the GRKC donates to the care of the KCSD’s K9 Unit’s canines. The GRKC also supports the Grand Rapids Canine Unit Foundation.
To What Drives Us
The Grand Rapids Kennel Club is an All-Breed dog club, and a member of the American Kennel Club dedicated to serving the needs of purebred dog owners by developing positive and rewarding relationships with their dogs. The club’s goal is to protect and advance the interest of purebred dogs, dog shows, obedience trials, and rally trials and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at such an event. Grand Rapids Kennel Club also endeavors to provide resources and additional information to the general public related to the health and training needs of their dogs. GRKC members are dedicated to dogs and have an abundance of experience and knowledge in training dogs to be companions, canine good citizens, and successful participants in American Kennel Club events.
